About Nello

\n

Nello is a science-backed wellness beverage brand building flavorful functional drink mixes and RTDs for stress management, focus, sleep, and everyday well-being. We're sold in Target, Walmart, Sam's Club & Costco and are growing quickly!

\n

\n

Role overview

\n

\n

Social is core to how people discover Nello. Our superpowder formulas give us permission to talk credibly about focus, mental clarity, mood, and balanced energy and we're looking for a social lead who can turn that story into content people actually want to watch.

\n

\n

We're bringing on a Social Media Manager who will be responsible for driving Nello’s social media strategy, brand voice, and cross-platform presence. This role blends creative thinking, strategy, and hands-on execution. We need someone who can step in immediately, own day-to-day content, and work alongside our internal design team and external partners to keep our channels consistent, sharp, and engaging.

\n

\n

This role is  part hands-on production, and part strategy - you'll ideate, shoot, edit, design, and publish, then use performance data to sharpen what comes next.

\n

\n

What you'll do

\n

\n

Strategy and Brand Voice

\n
    \n
  • Own and evolve Nello’s social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms
  • \n
  • Define and maintain a consistent, recognizable tone of voice on all channels
  • \n
  • Translate brand and business goals into creative, social-first content
  • \n
  • Ensure Nello remains culturally relevant and ahead of trends
  • \n
\n

\n

Content and Creative

\n
    \n
  • Oversee content ideation, planning, and execution, including short-form video
  • \n
  • Provide creative direction for shoots, campaigns, product launches, and key brand moments
  • \n
  • Develop platform specific content laddering into brand pillars and frameworks
  • \n
  • Review and refine captions, visuals, and messaging to ensure quality
  • \n
\n

\n

Marketing

\n
    \n
  • Partner with Brand Director on plans for product launches, seasonal campaigns, retail initiatives, and other brand priorities
  • \n
  • Analyze social media performance and trends to optimize content, timing, formats
  • \n
  • Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with the broader marketing calendar
  • \n
  • Identify opportunities to drive awareness and brand love through social content
  • \n
\n

\n

In a nutshell:

\n
    \n
  • Create - Ideate and develop social-first content, including a monthly content overview and plan that ladders up into our overarching marketing strategy.
  • \n
  • Produce - Film and edit short-form video, with a heavy focus on TikTok.
  • \n
  • Design - Build static assets, carousels, and social graphics, with an Instagram focus.
  • \n
  • Execute - Own the content calendar and handle day-to-day publishing across channels.
  • \n
  • Optimize - Track content performance and turn learnings into what we make next.
  • \n
\n

\n

Who you are

\n
    \n
  • 3-5+ years running social (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) for a consumer brand, in-house or at an agency -  ideally beverage, CPG, wellness, beauty, or another fast-moving category.
  • \n
  • A strong reel or portfolio of short-form video you've shot and edited yourself; we want to see your work.
  • \n
  • Comfort designing static and carousel content in tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.
  • \n
  • Strong copywriting instincts with a clear, confident point of view
  • \n
  • Experience sourcing, briefing, and collaborating with UGC creators. You have a network and know what’s trending.
  • \n
  • You know what sticks and have a sharp, working sense of what performs on social and what doesn’t and how that shifts from platform to platform.
  • \n
  • A track record of using social media performance data - not just instinct - to steer a content calendar.
  • \n
  • Self-direction: you can own a channel with light oversight and move fast without a big team around you.
  • \n
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
  • \n
